What exactly is Blockout DTF printing?
Dye migration and resublimation are chemical processes that make DTF transfers difficult on certain textiles and often only become visible later, when your customer has already received the goods.
Resublimation
In sublimation, dye is introduced into the fabric under heat. When heat is applied again, the dye particles resublimate, turn into gas and reach the surface of the fabric, where they cool down and settle. As a result, they show through the applied design and spoil it.
Dye migration
Textiles open their fibres at temperatures of 130 to 170 °C, allowing dye particles to penetrate. When decorating with a heat press, the dyes are released again, which can affect your print.
