UV DTF Transfer Standard with opaque white and protective varnish
For vibrant, glossy rub-on stickers on light and dark surfaces, with opaque white and tiered prices for commercial runs.
UV DTF Standard is the glossy version for logos and colours that should appear strong and opaque on the object. A white print layer sits beneath the CMYK colours. The glossy protective varnish creates the typical standard finish and protects the design under normal wear.
Full-colour printing on opaque white and glossy varnish make this version particularly versatile for dark bottles, coloured housings, signs, ceramics and other smooth hard surfaces. You do not need a heat press or have to weed any film. After rubbing it on, you peel off the transfer film and only the glossy design remains visible.

UV DTF rub-on stickers as a single design in any quantity You upload a single design and decide how often it should be printed. Company logos, product labels and promotional items need the same design in larger quantities, and this type of order is intended for exactly that. The sheet builder calculates in the background how the copies are distributed on the sheet, so you do not need to worry about print width or sheet length. The price is based on the design area multiplied by the quantity, calculated per square metre. The white underlay covers the surface, and the protective varnish provides the glossy finish. Delivery is as one continuous sheet. All copies of your design stay side by side on one roll; nothing is cut individually. Only one design needed, you set the quantity yourself Charged per square metre of design area Delivered on one continuous sheet Printed in CMYK with opaque white and a glossy protective varnish For use on glass, ceramics, metal and suitable plastics No plotter cutting, no weeding From a single piece, no minimum order value Setting up your single design as a print file Save your design as a single-page PDF or PNG, at the size at which it should be printed. You do not need to create copies or arrange anything in the file; the sheet builder takes care of that. If possible, work at 300 dpi, in the CMYK colour space and with details of at least 0.4 mm. If nothing should be printed around the design, the background must be transparent. Do not mirror the design. The UV DTF overview explains the glossy version and lists the suitable surfaces. Ordering your single design step by step First, decide whether you want to add the Pro File Check. Then upload your single-page PDF or PNG file and enter the quantity you want. Design area and quantity together give the total area on which the price is based. Check the details and then add your selection to the basket. A file may be no larger than 500 MB. Multi-page PDFs are rejected with a file error. You will be informed by email, and you can send the corrected print file by email as well.
UV DTF rub-on stickers in a custom length You set the length yourself: between 10 centimetres and 3 metres, the roll runs without interruption, with 560 mm available in width. You are charged for exactly the size your file has, and nothing is rounded up to full metres. You place company logos, product labels or designs for promotional items so close together on the roll that little space is left unused. A white layer beneath the colours covers the surface, and the protective varnish on top adds the gloss. Length between 10 cm and 3 m, you decide the size Print width of the roll: 560 mm Charged for the length actually set up, no rounding up Colours in CMYK, opaque white layer, glossy protective varnish Suitable for glass, ceramics, metal and compatible plastics No weeding or plotter cutting Available from a single piece, there is no minimum order value Setting up your print files for the custom length Set up your file as a single-page PDF or PNG, 560 mm wide and in the length you want to order, i.e. between 100 and 3000 mm. We recommend a resolution of 300 dpi and CMYK as the colour space, and fine details should not be below 0.4 mm. If the background should not be printed, it must be set up as transparent. Keep around 10 mm free between the individual designs and set up the file the right way round, i.e. not mirrored. What makes the glossy version special and which surfaces are suitable is explained on the UV DTF overview. Ordering your custom length You can add the Pro File Check if needed. Using the multi-upload, upload several single-page PDF or PNG files and set a separate quantity for each roll. The length is read from your file. After reviewing, add the complete selection to the basket. A file may be no larger than 500 MB. Multi-page PDFs are rejected with a file error. We will then contact you by email, and you can send a corrected print file by email as well.

Glossy UV DTF rub-on stickers by the metre A metre of UV DTF Standard is suitable for runs, larger designs and mixed gang sheets on hard objects. The sheet measures 560 x 1000 mm and gives you room to place company logos, product labels or promotional product designs close together. A white layer beneath the colours covers the surface, and the protective varnish on top gives it a glossy finish. Plenty of space on one sheet for B2B runs Printed in CMYK with opaque white and a glossy protective varnish Available from a single piece, larger quantities are cheaper thanks to tiered prices Suitable for glass, ceramics, metal and compatible plastics No plotter cutting or weeding Print files for your UV DTF by the metre Set up the file as a PDF or PNG with only one page in the format 560 x 1000 mm. It is best to work in CMYK at 300 dpi and keep fine details at least 0.4 mm. Anything that should not be printed belongs on a transparent background. Leave around 10 mm of space between the individual designs, and do not mirror the file. What makes the glossy version special and which surfaces are suitable is explained on the UV DTF overview. Upload your metre sheet and place your order If you like, add the Pro File Check. Using the multi-upload, upload several single-page PDF or PNG files and set a separate quantity for each sheet. Once everything has been checked, the whole selection goes into the basket in one go. A maximum of 500 MB is possible per file. PDFs with several pages are rejected with a file error. You will receive an email about this and can then send us the corrected print file by email.

Glossy UV DTF rub-on stickers, 560 x 500 mm The half metre offers enough space for a small run of bottle logos, cup designs, labels or various promotional product designs. UV DTF Standard is opaque and distinctly glossy. Once the design has been transferred, it stays visible on the object without a classic sticker edge. Sheet 560 mm wide and 500 mm long Printed in CMYK, plus white and protective varnish For hard objects, whether light, dark or coloured Available from a single piece, with tiered pricing No weeding, no heat when applying Preparing a print file in 560 x 500 mm format Set up your document exactly to the ordered sheet size of 560 x 500 mm. If possible, work at 300 dpi in the CMYK colour space and keep lines and free-standing areas at least 0.4 mm thick. Place the individual designs with around 10 mm of space between them so that they are easier to separate later. Make the background transparent and do not mirror the file. Not every surface is suitable: silicone, oily surfaces, heavily textured or flexible surfaces and special coatings may be unsuitable. The transfer is not food-safe. Combining different designs in one order You can add the Pro File Check if needed. Then drag and drop your single pages as PDF or PNG into the upload field, enter the quantity you want for each file and add the selection to your basket. That way, several different designs are bundled in one order. The upper limit is 500 MB per file. A multi-page PDF generates a file error. If a single page needs to be corrected, we will contact you by email. You can then send us the new file by email as well.

Glossy UV DTF rub-on stickers in A3 On A3, you can put together a larger rub-on design or several small logos for promotional products, packaging and product labels. The design gets its opacity from the white layer beneath, and its clear, glossy standard finish from the protective varnish on top. No heat press is needed. Sheet in 297 x 420 mm format CMYK print with strong colours plus white Glossy, weatherproof and UV-resistant surface Quantity tiers apply to runs Suitable for firm, clean and ideally smooth surfaces Setting up files for the glossy A3 sheet Send us a PDF or PNG with only one page, set up at the final size of 297 x 420 mm. We do not trim to A3 or scale the file. If possible, use 300 dpi, CMYK and elements of at least 0.4 mm. If there are several designs on the sheet, we recommend leaving around 10 mm between them. Anything that is not set up as transparent will be printed. The file is supplied unmirrored. For drinkware: UV DTF is not food-safe. Keep the design far enough away from the rim and plan for gentle hand washing. For unknown surfaces, a sample order makes sense. Putting together your UV DTF sheet in A3 First, choose whether we should check your file with the Pro File Check. Then drag your single pages into the field, one or more, and enter the quantity you want for each file. Finally, the finished configuration goes into the basket so that the right price tier applies. A maximum of 500 MB is possible per file. Multi-page PDFs are rejected. If we need different files, we will contact you by email, and you can send the corrected file back to us the same way.

Glossy UV DTF rub-on stickers in A4 A4 is the compact UV DTF format for individual logos, product samples and small groups of designs. An opaque white layer sits beneath the colours, with a glossy protective varnish on top. This makes the designs look strong and opaque even on coloured objects. You do not need a press to apply them; you rub the transfer onto firm surfaces. Sheet area of 210 x 297 mm Colour print in CMYK, opaque white, glossy protective varnish Suitable for glass, ceramics, metal, plastic and other suitable firm surfaces Available from a single piece, with tiered prices No weeding required Print files for the glossy UV DTF sheet Set up your file as a single-page PDF or PNG at 210 x 297 mm. We do not trim anything to A4 and do not scale the file either. We recommend 300 dpi, CMYK, transparent backgrounds and details at least 0.4 mm thick. If there are several designs on the sheet, leave around 10 mm between them so that they can be cleanly separated later. Do not mirror the file. Anything that is not transparent will be printed. UV DTF is not food-safe, so it should not be used on the rims of cups and glasses or on surfaces in direct contact with food. It is best to test materials and coatings you are not yet familiar with before a larger run. How to order the rub-on stickers in A4 If you need the Pro File Check, select it first and then upload your single-page PDF or PNG files. Drag and drop several designs and enter the quantity you want for each file. Then add the checked selection to your basket. A file may be no larger than 500 MB. Multi-page PDFs are reported as a file error. In that case, we will send you an email. You can send us your corrected print file the same way.

Create UV DTF rub-on stickers in the Designer In the Designer for UV DTF Standard, you put together your own sheet of rub-on stickers. They go onto the object without heat and without a press. Please note: Orders placed via the Designer cannot be cancelled or claimed under a complaint, as the Designer software points out errors and problems. No Pro File Check is carried out for Designer orders. There is NO express option for Designer orders. You can upload PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG and GIF; PNG is best for cut-out designs. You remove white backgrounds with one click, and designs can be duplicated, rotated, scaled and aligned. Neither the Designer nor we carry out design work or improvements. Material and suitability Standard print: high-resolution digital print in four colours, with white and protective varnish Transparent carrier, weatherproof, UV-resistant, strong adhesion Not food-safe; dishwasher-suitable, but not dishwasher-proof Adheres to flat, smooth, cylindrical, curved and irregularly shaped surfaces: glass, ceramics, porcelain, metal, wood, stone, plastic, some types of fabric Everything about creating files is in the FAQ How to apply the stickers Clean the surface so it is free of grease and dust; a glass cleaner is enough. Peel off the backing film. Place the sticker and align it. Press down evenly and slowly peel off the transfer film; a little warmth makes it easier. In the video: Applying UV DTF What belongs in your print file Lines at least 0.4 mm thick, 300 dpi resolution, around one centimetre of space between designs Do not mirror, set up in CMYK without spot colours Make the background transparent, build designs as free-standing, nothing is weeded Colour gradients in the design are possible, but gradients fading into transparency or into nothing are not More on this in Creating gang sheets for real Kings. Check your sheet yourself before sending it: dimensions, quantity, arrangement and resolution. For express, set up the file outside the Designer.

Sample Pack All in One: test DTF, UV DTF and sublimation before you order How a print feels, how sharp its edges are and how well it covers only becomes clear on the finished print, not on screen. That is why the Sample Pack contains test prints of our products and other prints, so you can feel the differences for yourself before you place your first larger order. These samples are included Test print with DTF standard adhesive Test print with DTF Blockout adhesive Mini colour chart as a sample UV DTF standard print as a sample UV DTF print in matt as a sample UV DTF print in transparent as a sample Sublimation print as a sample Standard and Blockout in direct comparison For cotton and cotton blends, the DTF standard adhesive is intended. The Blockout adhesive was developed for dyed polyester textiles and holds back dyes that could otherwise migrate into light areas of the design under the heat of the press. The surest way to tell which adhesive suits which textile is to lay both samples side by side and feel them yourself. You will find the details under DTF transfers. UV DTF in three finishes The pack contains three versions of UV DTF: Standard is opaque and glossy, Matt has a more understated surface, and Transparent has no white print, so the surface shows through the design. The quickest way to find out which one suits your material is to place the samples on the surface you want to decorate, i.e. on the glass, metal or plastic. More details under UV DTF transfers. How to go about testing First, go through the samples by hand and pay attention to how they feel and how the edges look. In the second step, press one of them with your own press onto a textile that you sell yourself. The test piece then goes in the wash, following the care instructions of the textile and ideally over several cycles, so that you can judge colour fastness and edges after washing too. You will find everything about application in the FAQ. Always do the test on an offcut and never on a finished item from a customer order.
The colour reference for glass, metal and plastic On hard surfaces, the same colour value looks different every time. Metal with a glossy surface reflects light, a shade gets lost in dark plastic, and satin-finished glass scatters light in all directions. Printed swatches therefore show you what result UV DTF actually delivers before you commission a run. NOTE: This colour chart is printed in the UV DTF Standard version. If you need it in matt or transparent, send us an email directly after your order, stating your order number and the version you want, to info@dtf-king.de. It is not intended for our other printing processes, as the colours turn out differently there. Why there is a separate chart for UV DTF A UV DTF transfer is not a transfer for textiles. What you have in front of you are self-adhesive rub-on stickers for smooth, firm surfaces. Instead of pressing it, you rub the design on and then remove the transfer film. The ink does not soak into any fibre; it sits as a layer on top of the material. That is why the values of the textile chart do not apply here. How the stickers are applied is explained under UV DTF transfers. Which materials to use the chart for Glass and mirrors in clear and satin finish Brushed and painted metal Smooth plastic and varnished wood Ceramics and glazed surfaces Place the chart directly on the material that will be printed later and look at it in daylight. How a value looks in the end only becomes clear on the real surface. What the set includes You will receive 10 colour charts in A3 format, with 964 colour swatches in CMYK spread across them. Each swatch shows the matching CMYK value, which you can enter directly into your print file. The charts are produced in the glossy UV DTF Standard version. We produce matt and transparent on request. How to keep the colour the same when reordering Work in the CMYK colour space in your file and set the ISO Coated v2 (ECI) colour profile. This is our standard profile for DTF and UV DTF transfers. If you enter the value from the swatch exactly, the shade of a repeat order will turn out just like the first order. You will find everything about setting up files in the FAQ. The set is suitable for textile printers adding hard surfaces to their range, for the sign-making trade and for businesses whose fixed customer colours need to stay the same across several orders. Colour charts are excluded from complaints. This does not apply to defective colour charts.
2 correction rounds The Pro File Check does not include any design work. The file check does not apply to Designer products and express products. The Pro File Check cannot be ordered on its own, i.e. without the associated product order, because we would then have no file to check. If an order contains only the file check, we therefore have no choice but to cancel it. If you would like to add the check afterwards, this must be agreed with our support team. Not sure whether your uploaded files are set up correctly? Or would you simply like us to check them again? No problem. The Pro File Check is exactly what you need! If we find something in your files that is not right, they will not go to print as they are. Instead, we will contact you and tell you what needs to be adjusted. What we check: Format: Are your files set up in the format you ordered? Colour: Are your files set up in CMYK? Is the correct colour profile embedded? Is the main transparency set up correctly? In other words, we check that the gang sheet is not completely covered by an area of colour. This only refers to the main transparency of the sheet, not the transparencies within the graphics, because we cannot judge whether they are intended If your files do not meet our requirements, the production and delivery time of your DTF transfers may be extended or postponed by the time it takes for the new files to arrive.
Opaque company logos and product designs
Product examples for UV DTF Standard
UV DTF Standard combines full-colour printing on opaque white with a clearly visible glossy surface. The white print prevents a dark or coloured object from showing through the design. At the same time, the protective varnish provides the typical gloss. This makes Standard the versatile choice for recurring corporate orders.
- Strong brand colours even on black and coloured objects
- Fine fonts and free-standing logos without a visible film edge
- For samples, one-offs and runs with quantity tiers

Decorating dark mugs
On a dark glaze, a design without a white base would almost disappear. Standard puts white under every colour, so cream stays cream even on black.

Labelling toolboxes
Company logos on dark tools. The glossy protective varnish shrugs off oil, dust and everyday workshop life without the colours going dull.

Helmets with UV stickers
On curved shells, the transfer follows the curve. Rub from the centre outwards and the design lies on the curve without creases.

Decorating tinted windows
Tinted windows swallow every colour. With opaque white underneath, the lettering stays clearly legible from outside, even against the light.

Having water bottles printed
Stainless steel in matt black. The gloss of the protective varnish visibly sets the design apart from the matt surface, an effect you only get with Standard.

Personalising phone cases
Plastic and hard shells. Multicoloured designs stay crisp because each colour sits on its own white area instead of mixing with the surface.
Help deciding on opaque rub-on stickers
Planning, ordering and applying UV DTF Standard
Here you will find the special features of the standard version. The general comparison of all three versions is covered only on the central UV DTF overview.
When is Standard the right version?
Use UV DTF Standard if the surface should not show through the design. The white layer lies behind the printed colours and creates a more even base. This keeps light parts of the design and company colours recognisable even on black, red, blue or other strong object colours.
The glossy protective varnish suits product labels, promotional items and designs where a brilliant surface is desired. If the design should be as low-reflection as possible, consider UV DTF Matt instead. For a translucent glass effect without white print, use UV DTF Transparent (designed for exactly this).
Choosing the format for standard orders
Choose the format according to the size and number of your glossy standard designs. A4 and A3 are suitable for tests and individual orders, while the half metre and film by the metre offer more usable space for recurring logos and larger runs.
| Order format | Planning area | Practical use |
|---|---|---|
| A4 | 210 x 297 mm | Approval samples, name variants and individual logos |
| A3 | 297 x 420 mm | Larger brand designs and several small labels |
| Half metre | 560 x 500 mm | Small production runs with mixed designs |
| By the metre | 560 x 1000 mm | Regular runs and many recurring company logos |
The A sheets are not trimmed to A4 or A3 afterwards. Create your file directly in the correct final format. An incorrect document size is not automatically scaled to fit.
Preparing a gang sheet for UV DTF Standard
- Save the finished gang sheet as a single-page PDF or as a PNG.
- Work at 300 dpi with lines or free-standing details at least 0.4 mm thick.
- Plan around 10 mm of free space between neighbouring designs.
- Use CMYK and, if possible, ISO Coated v2 (ECI) for more predictable colour output.
- Leave the file unmirrored and remove any background that is not needed.
- White can be included in the design. With Standard, it is printed opaque.
- Limit each individual upload file to a maximum of 500 MB.
Multi-page PDFs are not processed by the upload. In this case, you will get a file error followed by an email so that you can replace the file by email or via WeTransfer, always quoting your order number. To arrange many logos, use the DTF Designer or the guide to creating gang sheets.

Rubbing on the Standard transfer cleanly
Remove dust, grease and cleaning residue completely from the object surface. Separate the design from the gang sheet with enough margin, peel off the lower film and position the transfer only once. Press down the centre first and, on curved objects, work outwards in a controlled way.
Rub edges, small letters and thin lines on particularly thoroughly. Then slowly peel off the upper film at a flat angle. If a detail still comes away with the film, lay it back down and rub the area again. Before larger runs, an application test on the same material and coating is recommended.
Cleaning and safe placement
Standard UV DTF is weatherproof and UV-resistant, but the actual durability depends on the object and how it is used. For drinkware, we recommend gentle hand washing. Scouring pads, aggressive cleaners and long soaking can damage the glossy protective varnish.
Not food-safe: The transfer is not food-safe. Never apply it to inside surfaces, cutting surfaces or directly to the rim you drink from. For objects with a safety function, moving parts or special coatings, you must check beforehand whether applying a sticker is permitted.
If Standard does not adhere as expected
Stop applying if small elements stay on the transfer film or the design does not adhere evenly to the surface. First check cleaning, material, coating and rubbing pressure.
Send our customer service your order number, photos and a description of the object. We will do our best to support you and narrow down the cause together.
Opaque UV stickers for business customers
Order UV DTF Standard as glossy rub-on stickers
UV DTF Standard combines multicolour digital printing with a white underlay and glossy protective varnish. Commercial decorators, sign makers, agencies and manufacturers can use it to apply logos and labels to solid products without having to print on the objects directly. Because only the printed areas of the design are transferred, the result is an edge-free look that is particularly suitable for fine fonts and complex company logos.
The standard version is available in A4, A3, as a half metre and as UV DTF film by the metre. Express products are available for short-notice repeat orders. Tiered prices reduce the price per sheet for larger quantities and support predictable runs of promotional items, product packaging, signs and personalised hard goods.
